Brian Rutter

Watching his mother Jacki Rutter’s 30-year career in real estate, Brian Rutter could hardly wait to join her in the business. After he did so in 2016, he found his high-energy, outgoing personality was perfect for real estate, except for one weakness: organization.

Since January, when the Rutter Home Sales Team joined Keller Williams Advantage Realty of State College, Pennsylvania, Rutter’s team has skyrocketed to the top three spot in the MLS. This achievement has been made possible – in part – because of the team’s hard work and the technology and training available to keep them organized right off the bat, he shares.

For starters, through Keller Williams’ contact and transaction management in Command and weekly Labs held in his market center, he’s found the homerun combination of tools to keep his contacts in one place and the support he needs to grow and service his clients at the highest level.

“It feels like a huge weight has been lifted off my back,” Rutter says. “At Keller Williams, I have more access to resources and feel my peers are my partners. When I arrived, the comment I kept hearing was ‘My only regret is that I didn’t do it sooner.’”

He is also amazed at the innovation that comes from the private owner’s ability to invest and innovate without following a big picture dictated by stockholders. And he’s inspired by the company’s vision of “God, family, business” – a model that aligns with his personal values, he says.

Additionally, Rutter loves that at Keller Williams there’s a system in place to help him grow. His goals are written down, and he’s held accountable.

“For there to be a formal structure is powerful. I love being pushed.”
