RED Day 2021: KW Agents and Associates Come Together for Global Day of Service

May 14, 2021

Since 2009, Keller Williams agents, leaders, and associates have taken the second Thursday of May to flood their communities with care – whether it be through labor-intensive acts of service, monetary donations, or a combination of both. “A proud annual tradition, RED Day is when the heart of our KW culture shines bright, as we give back in truly amazing ways to the communities we serve,” said Carl Liebert, CEO of kwx, the holding company of KW. “It’s a prime moment for our more than 190,000 agents and leaders globally to give where they live.”

On May 13, 2021, the global KW family beamed with RED Day pride as they collected food donations, cleaned up local parks, revitalized public spaces, and much more. Take a peek at some of the wonderful projects that took place during this year’s event, and share your own in the comments section.

KWRI

At the KWRI Austin-based HQ, the team renewed, reenergized, and donated across four community-centric projects. Associates got their entire families involved in writing KW Love Letters to health care workers and any other heroes they wanted to express their gratitude to. Last year, the team also wrote more than 1,400 letters to first responders, grocery store workers, and nursing home communities. At the KW Cares warehouse, volunteers helped reorganize and take inventory.

In addition, associates were excited to run this year’s food drive, with options to monetarily donate to Feeding Texas, or volunteer in person with Mobile Loaves & Fishes, delivering meals to residents. Lastly, some members of the KWRI family showed love to Austin (and beyond) by partaking in a citywide cleanup effort with self-led cleanups.

U.S. and Canada

Between improving the lives of fellow community members, bringing joy to our canine friends, and pouring into their natural surroundings, agents and associates in the U.S. and Canada regions covered a lot of ground during this year’s RED Day. Here are some photos from the local events.
